...

'Invisible Wars' of the Future: E-Bombs, Laser Guns and Acoustic Weapons Speaking at the Moscow Institute of Foreign Relations on September 1st, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said: “An arms race is entering its new stage. There is a threat of new weaponry looming on the horizon.” What exactly did he mean by saying that?

US Electromagnetic Weapons and Human Rights

http://globalresearch.ca/articles/ElectromagWeapons.pdf Sonoma State University Project Censored Media Freedom Foundation

"The current capabilities of the US military to use electromagnetic (EMF) devices to harass, intimidate, and kill individuals and the continuing possibilities of violations of human rights by the testing and deployment of these weapons." ... This research explores the current capabilities of the US military to use electromagnetic (EMF) devices to harass, intimidate, and kill individuals and the continuing possibilities of violations of human rights by the testing and deployment of these weapons. To establish historical precedent in the US for such acts, we document long-term human rights and freedom of thought violations by US military/intelligence organizations. Additionally, we explore contemporary evidence of on-going government research in EMF weapons technologies and examine the potentialities of continuing human rights abuses.

Reasons to be Cheerful: Part Three

Thanks for helping me be scared more shitless than I already am - at bedtime, no less. But we love you anyway - your sentience.

Nefferkitti says "Reality. TV. Two more reason to read books," adumbrating a sentiment you tossed out the other day.

EMFs. God knows what other fun cherry bombs these dopey kids at the helm may think up. Infinite reasons to run away. Far.

Oh. And we love your bold and historically righteous resolve to stand and fight. Courage!

Sorry for the dark post.. :(

& thank you for the nice compliments...

I wish I knew ...Everything...or Anything...or Something..or even just one thing to 'make it all better'...

Have either of you ever visited California?

I'm wondering if it's a good idea to ask the people in the Peace & Freedom party that I email with sometimes for an interview of some sort? What do you guys think? And if yes, what would I ask?

xo,

Thanks, Alice. You do know EverythingAnythingSomething. It's in there in your stored memory; in fact, I think the book from which you take your name can give us some hopeful guidance. When you're absorbed in Carroll's Aliceworlds, don't you feel a sense of cheerful comfort in an often frightening universe that doesn't make conventional sense? I sort of figured this out independently myself in the Days of Acid.

I've been to San Francisco briefly when I was just barely 18. Treebu has spent some time in San Francisco and Los Angeles when she moved out there for about a year with her boyfriend when she was 17 or 18. Her brother spent most of the Vietnam mess years hiding out from the draft in California, mostly around Santa Cruz. Starting at age 13, Treebu, who lived in Florida, put her thumb out and hitched cross-country to California to look for him (she really missed him).
Since our Great Reunion four years ago, Treebu and I have fantasized about taking some time and driving north from San Diego to Medford, Ore. (where her bro now lives) and beyond, stopping to visit the many friends and family people from each of our lives who've settled out there (San Fran, LA, Medford, Ore., Wenatchee, WA). We should maybe put you on our travel map?
What did you ask the P&F folks? Don't ask me for question suggestions: my questions often piss people off because I don't take the world too terribly seriously. But I do love it here on earth, especially when the people around me are genuinely happy. I'm really enjoying this movie - it makes you cry sometimes, but it's generally hilarious. I think you know what I mean.
Jeez Alice - Maybe treebu and I should just start emailing with you, instead of cluttering up your cool blog with lengthy Ahoys. We wanna hear about Alice - Have you been in N. Calif. since the bones of your ancestors? Have you been east? To NY City? To Vermont? Etc.?

Ok...great idea...
