A billboard demanding the release of the five -- Ramon Labanino, Antonio Guerrero, Rene Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez and Fernando Gonzalez – went up earlier this year in downtown Los Angeles. And another billboard is scheduled to be unveiled Thursday at 11 a.m. in San Francisco at the corner of 10^th and Mission Streets. A statement from the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five said activists Gloria La Riva and Cindy Sheehan planned to speak at the event in San Francisco.

Sheehan is the nationally known anti-war activist and La Riva is coordinator of the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five.
