Oceania by: Anthony Beal
uncurling through blue breezes
that whisper in flirtation,
she spiderwebs the faithful plains
with raging flashes of tongue,
raking nails, muted roars that eviscerate.
sinuous transcendence breathes tonight.
glamour gleaned from agelessness
spills fog from fingertips that observe like eyes,
from eyes that lap like frenetic tongues
at the fringes of perception grand.
arched and sculpted, burning cold,
rising with crescents bared,
she wafts opiate through guarded darkness.
she breathes madness into storm clouds,
seeding heaven with hemlock,
carving wayward paths between flesh and bone.
her word, her pheromone of choice inspires
the surging urge to kneel, close manic,
fevered hands around this soul
and draw it free as offering, as raiment, as food.
flesh is fragrant myth beneath a melting moon, and
delirious is this dance through her downpour
that scalds like a hot mouth creeping along the spine.
