July 4th, 1862
In 1862, English mathematician and clergyman Charles L. Dodgson ("Lewis Carroll") began devising the story of "Alice in Wonderland" for his young friend Alice Pleasance Liddell during a boating trip.

My birth name was Alice Jane (named after my mother and grandmother so I could find them easier should I ever look..And I did.. And I found them...
My birth mother carried an Alice In Wonderland Madame Alexander doll from NY to CA when she was 8.
I hope the story of Alice and Lewis never fade.
