US Court of Appeals Sets Oral Argument in Nader v Democratic National Committee

From: http://www.ballot-access.org The U.S. Court of Appeals in D.C. will hold oral arguments in Nader v Democratic National Committee on March 20, 2009 (case no. 08-7074). The Court set the oral argument on its own motion, without attorneys for either side needing to ask. Not all cases in appeals courts necessarily have oral arguments. The case had been filed in 2007 by Ralph Nader, alleging that the Democratic National Committee in 2004 had acted unlawfully when it coordinated dozens of challenges to Nader’s ballot positions in 2004.
